Writer-director Milap Zaveri, who’s eagerly awaiting the release of his naughty comedy Mastizaade produced by Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd (PNC) and Rangita Nandy, will make his Bollywood debut as an actor in the movie.
Milap, who has previously worked as story-screenplay-dialogue writer for successful adult comedies including Masti and Grand Masti, will be seen playing a pivotal role in his directorial venture, Mastizaade starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das.
Many directors have been seen appearing in their own films by playing cameo roles including Subhash Ghai, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Prakash Jha, Remo D’Souza, Prabhu Dheva and Ayan Mukerji among others. Similarly, Milap joins the bandwagon of directors playing interesting roles in their movies.
Talking about his acting stint in Mastizaade Milap informs, “My cameo in the film was unplanned! It was supposed to be done by my writer and lucky charm Mushtaq Sheikh! But as his “dates” weren’t free, at the last minute, I had to step in and perform the scene of a naughty hotel guest awed by the hotness of Sunny aka Laila! It’s me at my raunchiest best!”
Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd and Rangita Nandy and co-written by Mushtaq Sheikh and Milap Zaveri, Mastizaade starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das is scheduled to release January 29, 2016.
