A couple of days before Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna starrer Ittefaq hits the screens this Friday, the buzz is that makers from South have officially communicated enthusiasm for changing the film.
Says a source, “Abhay Chopra and Juno Chopra have been drawn closer by a couple of South producers to pitch the rights to their film. They need to revamp the film in Telugu. Abhay and Juno have had a few discourses and are likewise quick to give the makers the privilege to revamp.”

While Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha’s movie Ittefaq, which is being co-delivered by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan alongside BR Studios, is an adjustment of the 1969 Yash Chopra directorial, the South producers need to secure privileges of the fresher variant. “Abhay and Juno won’t make the film down South. Producers from South have adored the promos and indicated enthusiasm for the advanced, more contemporary storyline,” includes our source.
Another source uncovers, “The producers have been offered a decent cost to offer the redo rights.”
The first Ittefaq had Rajesh Khanna in the number one spot part as a criminal-on-the-run who is accused of the murder of his significant other. The new form, which is said to be somewhat not the same as the 60s adaptation, is planned to discharge on November 3.
